Abstract

Screening circuits with vibrating machines have been in focus at Mekhanobr Institute since its formation. In the early 1990s, this trend got further development at the Mekhanobr-Tekhnika Research and Engineering Corporation that has designed round 30 new-generation vibrating screens of various size and capacity. This article describes the case histories of new-generation machines employed in ore pre-treatment, in metallurgy and construction to produce marketable break stone and illustrates the need to continue R&D in the given direction in order to obtain a technology and equipment for fi ne dry and wet screening of different materials and products.
