Lebedinsky Mining and and Processing Plant (Lebedinsky GOK) is the largest Russian enterprise in mining and concentration of iron ore. Annual commercial output of the works exceeds at present time 21 mln. t of high-quality iron ore raw materials for enterprises of the iron and steel industry. These raw materials are characterized by high Fe content and low part of harmful impurities. Lebedinsky GOK is the only enterprise in Russia, other CIS countries and Europe that produces hot-briquetted iron (HBI). Lebedinsky GOK is one of the leading Russian participants of external economic activity. Current export volume of the enterprise makes up to 50% of manufactured iron ore products. Deliveries are realized via railway and marine transport in the countries of Eastern and Western Europe, Asian and Pacific region, Southern Asia, Middle East, Central and North America, CIS. Geography of the export deliveries of Lebedinsky GOK expands more than by two times during recent 10 years. In 2015 the works has delivered 7.4 mln. t of iron ore products in 27 near- and far-abroad countries. About 40% of raw materials shipped by the works are directed to the external market. Systematic delivery of highquality iron ore products allowed Lebedinsky GOK to strengthen its positions on the principally new markets of Eastern and Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, North America without losing the conventional external sales markets (such as the enterprise in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Turkey, China, South Korea).
