Реферат

The initiation and growth of the mining education and mining science in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is inextricably linked with the Moscow Mining Institute–Moscow State Mining University–Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys (Russian abbreviation: MGI–MGGU–MISIS) and with the Ore and Metals Publishing House. During the creation and formation of the higher mining education in Yakutia (later on RS(Y)), one of the organizers of the mining education, Andreev V. S. completed the postgraduate studentship at the Moscow Mining Institute. Also in the following years, many teachers and researchers from the Republic were trained at MGI and MGGU through the postgraduate and doctoral studies. The contribution of the refresher courses, completed by all teachers of the mining department which then became a faculty and, finally, an institution, to the upgrading of the professional development is emphasized. The educational and methodological support offered by MGI–MGGU–MISIS in in the form of the exchange of teaching aids, visual materials and the coordination of curricula and other works in invaluable. The contribution of the higher establishments of mining education in the Russian Federation to the organizational and methodological support provided by means of meetings of teachers and lecturers, delivery of educational and methodological materials, development of the Federal State Educational Standards and classifying of educational aids and textbooks is described. More close cooperation in personnel training started between the mining industry of the Republic and MGGU in 1995. During the period of the cooperation, MGGU and MISIS trained 175 and 134 graduates, respectively. At present, these specialists work in all branches of the mining industry of the Republic: ALROSA, Yakutugol, Aldanzoloto, gold mining companies, research institutes, North-Eastern Federal University and its affiliates. Initiation and development of the mining education and science in the Republic is inextricably linked with the Ore and Metals Publishing House headed by Editor-in-Chief Vorobyev A.G. Considering the importance of the mining industry in the Republic and in the northeast of Russia, the publishing house pays close attention to the advancement in mining education, promotion of scientific and technical ideas and propagation of scientific achievements of researchers from the Mining Institute and branches of the North-Eastern Federal University. For instance, in the last decade, a few special issues of scientific periodicals were devoted to these issues.
