Реферат | The article provides an overview of advanced dust suppression agents (binders) that comply with the principles of sustainable chemistry. Studies are presented aimed at selecting the most effective polymerbased dust suppression emulsions by combining physical, chemical and biological methods for consolidating dust-forming surfaces. The results of laboratory experiments using polymer-based binders of Floset (KNTP), Dustbind (NALCO), and Alcotac DS1 (BASF) for nepheline sands dominated tailings are discussed. Particular emphasis is placed on optimizing the doses of these expensive reagents in reclamation activities designed as preventive measures to eliminate dust losses. The method of bio(phyto)testing was used for the seed material recommended for the reclamation of disturbed territories of the Murmansk region. The studies were conducted for the industrial soil of the tailings storage facility of the second apatite-nepheline processing plant (ANOF-2) of Apatit JSC. Simulations of hydroseeding for the TSF soil were added to the experiments with direct sowing of a two-component reclamation grass mixture. The composition of the mixture was consistent with the recommendations for the reclamation of disturbed areas in the Far North. Sawdust was used as a non-traditional ameliorant with a high water-retaining ability. The effectiveness of spot application of binders on moistened soil was confirmed. The seeding rate for the grass mixture and the dosage of the binder with this method were halved, as compared to continuous seeding, without compromising the quality of the phytocenosis formed. The plants of the Dustbind (NALCO) binder option were leading in terms of relative biomass accumulation. |
