Abstract

This article discusses approaches to the neutralization of technogenic metal-containing waste of I and II hazard classes. The proposed technical solutions make it possible to obtain raw materials for obtaining new products and materials (metals, oxides, a mixture of oxides of Fe, Al, Ti, Cr, Cu, Zn, Ni and some others). Hazard classes of waste generation during surface treatment of metals and alloys are analyzed, which can vary depending on the reagents and the composition of the sediment (from I to IV). A scheme for the centralized neutralization of acid-base solutions at the new facilities of FGUP “FEO” in 4 regions has been proposed. Technological solutions for thermal treatment of a mixture of hydroxides at temperatures of 600-650 ° C in order to obtain less toxic products (IV hazard class) are considered. Approaches to the utilization of dusty gas cleaning waste generated on the line, as well as which can come from metallurgical production, for example, ferroalloys, are presented. The directions of the secondary use of metal oxides in the chemical metallurgical industry, as well as as raw materials for building materials are given.
