Abstract |
At Dzhamgyr deposit the proven and probable reserves have been explored and appraised in 23 lodes and on 27 adit levels. The local geodyna mics relates to the geotectonics in the zones of suprasubduction and collision in the middle and late Paleozoic ages. The main geodynamic process with fracturing and jointing took place at the turn of the middle and upper Carbonic period, and ended with subduction of the Paleo Turkestan ocean under the Kazakh–Kyrgyz continent, with introduction of granitoids and growth of plutogenous hydrothermal emplacement. The most promising method at the moment is the cataclastic analysis of displacement discontinuities. This study substantiates the concept of self-similarity, scale, self-organization and fractality of blocks at a mineral deposit, with delineation of these blocks. Dzhamgyr gold ore deposit belongs to the third level in the hierarchy of mine field blocks. The deposit consists of the fault zones and ore lodes. The concept of self-similarity, scale, self-organization and fractality of productive lodes in the fault zones is discussed. The blocks are analyzed by the similarity criteria, and development of the fault zones enclosing the gold–quartz ore lodes is modeled. It is found that the ore-localizing structures, namely, the boundaries of the blocks, obey the scaled conditions of the block structure of the deposit by the criteria of similarity and hierarchy. The research has produced the model to study the behavior of stopes in the conditions of nonlinear self-similarity of ore blocks. The authors appreciate participation of Mining Engineer–Geologist K. Z. Kurmanaliev and Geotechnical Engineering Consultant, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor V. A. Mansurov from Vertex Gold Company in this research. |
