Abstract

The article presents the results of experimental tests of the Automated system for analysis and calculation of cold rolling strip parameters (ASACCP) on a 1400 multi-stand mill of NLMK. A detailed description of the main functions and subsystems of ASACCP is presented in message 1. The subsystems are made in the form of separate interconnected computational modules that implement calculations and logical procedures based on the prepared data array and provide results that fully meet the purpose of the subsystems and the main task of the system, respectively. As an example, the article presents one of the most illustrative test results: the standard grade and size of strips that have an increased demand from the end user selected for the study. The results presented in the paper confirm the efficiency of the system and its suitability for further industrial operation within the metallurgical enterprise.
