Abstract |
Humankind is currently experiencing tectonic shifts connected with ending of unipolar world order. All spheres of life of the countries and people painfully transform: international relations, economy, science and education, social sphere and culture. Struggle for preservation of Russia, and strengthening of its status in the political arena has naturally aggravated confrontation with the Collective West. This concerns the special military operation in Ukraine if we talk about the sphere of war, and beyond the war sphere, this is the overcoming of challenges connected with sanctions which are the elements of hybrid warfare. At the same time, the goals and ways to achieve the goals of development of the state and the society are defined by strategic planning with regard to reality. The strategic plans articulate the critical importance of traditional Russian spiritual values and ethical standards, in particular, patriotism. Some statesmen use the collocation cultural code in their rhetoric. At the present moment, not only does the topicality of the mineral resource security survives but even becomes revived in the new challenges connected with resources for the state-of-the-art technology, including weaponry. It is convenient to illustrate the value of development of the country and society by taking the sphere of mineral mining (the backbone industry sector) as a “viewing system”. The purpose is to promote formation of a conscious framework for the patriotic labor-related thinking—a mental orientation for citizens to define their personal contribution to the victory of Russia and to the achievement of the strategic goals set by the government. In this context, Gornyi Zhurnal is shown as a living history and a symbol, which for almost 200 years promotes high intelligent culture of research and engineering which is essential for boosting industrial advancement and labor achievements of miners. The author expresses his gratitude to Atomredmetzoloto Uranium Holding management in the name of Vladimir Verkhovtsev and Victor Svyatetskiy for the all-round support of this study. |
