Abstract

This article describes the results of the evaluation of the efficiency of the application of the method of pulsating ventilation for dust deposition by irrigation at the stages of unloading iron ore concentrate. The specified method of dust control is necessary to ensure fire and explosion safety in places of possible material losses and to optimize the treatment of mining and metallurgical waste. The presented work considers the peculiarities of the application of this method and its impact on HMP dust. The paper examines the parameters of the pulsating ventilation and irrigation system, with graphical dependencies showing the change in concentration of dust particles in the air depending on the frequency of the air pulsator, the time of operation of the pulsator, and the diameter of the nozzle used for irrigation. The authors emphasize the promise and effectiveness of the method in reducing the impact of dust on the air in the working area and at unloading points, providing an important contribution to the study of dust emission control in industrial processes.
