Abstract | The article describes the conducted studies aimed at developing the rational technology for processing commercial and non-commercial porphyry copper ore from Yoshlik-I deposit. When concentrating mineral raw materials from this deposit, the core factors to be considered were closeness of flotation properties of raw materials to pyrite and chalcopyrite, and a considerable volume of waste rock in flotation slurry, complicating the selective flotation process due to sludge formation. Flotation in processing commercial and non-commercial porphyry copper ore requires selective collecting agents for copper minerals and diluted slurry to mitigate hazardous influence of sludge on process parameters. The authors studied depressing effect of lime on iron minerals in flotation. The obtained process parameters during flotation contribute to achieving the highest concentrate parameters according to the developed rational technology for processing commercial and non-commercial porphyry copper ore from Yoshlik-I deposit. |
