The use of machines and tractors on pneumatic wheels in peat extraction and transportation technologies has made it possible to increase the speed of forward motion of the equipment and its versatility, but also set the operating companies the task of increasing the traction and support cross-country ability of the equipment, since even a peat deposit that is drained and prepared for exploitation is to weak soils with reduced bearing capacity. The solution to this problem in most cases is to use double wheels on special low-pressure flotation tires instead of single ones. A block of inner and outer wheels (double wheel travel) can significantly increase the maneuverability of the vehicle. A reasonable choice of “second” wheels for cars requires the correct calculation of the load on the dual stroke, taking into account its unequal distribution between the inner and outer wheels. The existing traditional calculation method assumes equal loads on both wheels in the block, however, experience in operating pneumatic wheeled equipment, especially on hard-surface roads, shows that the inner wheels wear out much faster than the outer ones, which indicates a higher load on the inner wheels. Since a load-bearing beam with two dual wheels is a statically indeterminate system, its calculation must be carried out taking this circumstance into account. The article provides evidence of the symmetrical loading of the cargo beam with wheels, the greater loading of the internal wheels, and presents a methodology for assessing the loading of the internal and external wheels of peat transport and technological machines. |
