Nowadays the problem of development and use of MOX-fuel (oxide uranium-plutonium fuel) in Russia is being solved at the technological level, so it is not yet appropriate to speak about the economy of this approach to NPP fuel supply. Besides, the analysis of manufacturing and use of MOX-fuel in the world atomic market is very important, and the year 2009 has shown new examples of using this technology.
