Financial analysts estimate the perspectives of strengthening Russian positions in the world atomic market, based on the activities in 2009. There are few definite forecasts, but single positive tendencies can be tracked down: the construction of NPPs, manufactured by Russia and operating on uranium, enriched by Rosatom; the perspectives of laying the world’s largest cable, which will provide electricity from the planned Baltic NPP in Kaliningrad towards Germany and France; development of mines for uranium extraction and further enrichment.
