To develop a technology for producing seamless pipes from 13Cr steels for wells with increased CO2 content four steels chemical compositions proposed. The samples of the proposed high-chromium steels obtained under laboratory conditions using a methodology including smelting experimental steels, hot screw rolling and subsequent strip rolling. The steels intended for the production of seamless hot-rolled threaded pipes in strength grades from L80 to P110. Dilatometric tests conducted, critical points of experimental steels determined, grain growth during heating studied and heat treatment schedules proposed and substantiated based on the conducted research. Heat treatment according to the proposed schedules and mechanical testing of laboratory rolled steels demonstrated the feasibility of achieving the required combination of strength and cold resistance. Based on the laboratory rolled steel studies, the chemical compositions of the tubular blanks for pilot batches selected, and a technology of the production and heat treatment for pipes under industrial conditions developed, meeting the requirements for strength groups L80 and P110 in cold-resistant design. Based on actual environment compositions under field operating conditions, a methodology for conducting laboratory autoclave tests proposed. A comprehensive assessment of the resistance of industrially produced 13Cr steel samples in model environments conducted. High corrosion resistance of industrially produced pipe samples demonstrated during static and dynamic autoclave testing.
