Major factors, influencing the choice of a technology and ore-preparation flow sheet, have been considered. Competitive alternatives of ore-preparation are shown, with their rationality being determined by technical-and-economic comparison. Besides conventional, alternatives with application of new types of equipment are recommended for consideration, taking into account the equipment operating experience and effects on power inputs and subsequent processing stages.
