Certain aspects of the scientific and technical cooperation between ZAO «Mekhanobr Engineering» (Russia) and PA «Hydrogeometal» (Poland) in organization and conducting the Conference «East—West» — «New technologies in mining industry», are considered. The most significant results of the mutual work are emphasized, and upcoming trends for improving exchange of information between specialists of different countries are set.
