Abstract | Main forms of reagent-collector sorption on mineral surface and their effect on flotation complex formation were considered. It was shown, that determination of mineral hydrophobicity increase methods is insufficient to model reagent-collector action. The task of flotation reagents properties optimization may be solved on the basis of gas bubble and mineral particle interaction study, revealing the role of each reagent sorption forms in this interaction. The following concepts are proposed: sorption physical form action mechanism in mineral particle attachment to gas bubble and reagent's flotation activity estimation criteria. |
