Abstract
In nuclear energy, the forecast of an NPP operation period is essential. In mid May 2010 the U.S. Department of Energy developed and published the forecast document DOE/EIA-0383 (2010), which considered the issue of 60-year operation period of U.S. nuclear power plants.
