Elements of kinetics, process technologies and method of production of Al—Sc ligature from fluorides and scandium oxides are stated. Research results have allowed to recommend the process of ligature production at two temperature modes, low temperatures provide high extraction, high temperatures promote dissolution scandium intermetallic compounds in liquid aluminium. Most good results have been reached at a combination of a firm Al-liquid flux metal. Extraction of Sc averaged 65–96 %, and on occasion reached 98 %.
