Permanent magnets' magnetic fields and magnetic forces with counter-directed magnetic moments were measured. Magnetic system with six magnets from neodymium-iron-boron alloy was modeled, its magnetic intensity components and magnetic force were measured. On the basis of the performed studies, a magnetic separator with new magnetic system was developed.
