The results of pilot-industrial explosions on reset of overburden with different durability in exhausted areas of quarry of Dzheroy-Sardarinskiy phosphate deposit have been presented. Empirical formula for determination and optimization of reset coefficient in relation to specific consumption of explosive materials, angle of inclination of down hole, width of split, high of ledge and power of strong proplastics has been proposed on the base of this results.
