Abstract
Thermodynamics of the system copper-lead matte-slag-gas phase with controllable parameters PO2 and PS2 is considered. Quantitative ratios of solvability of non-ferrous metals and impurity from copper-lead mattes are established. The mechanism of transition of metals from matte into slag with reference to conditions of blast and retractive blast smelting of lead raw materials is presented.
