Abstract
Increase of operating time of electrolyzers is one of the main factors on the way of reduction of production costs and increasing of enterprises production. Analysis of the practice of local repair of furnace hearths of electrolyzers, widely using at the Irkutsk aluminium plant, has been presented. The list of criteria, determining practicability of local repairs realization has been presented by authors on the base of described analysis.
