Abstract
The article considers the issues of selective disintegration of ores, in particular, effect of different types of deformation and loading on ore disintegration character. A classification of factors, that most affect ore disintegration characteristic, is proposed. Examples of selective disintegration are given with respect to ore properties and loading conditions. Main stages of ore-preparation are analyzed, and the main range of crushing-and-grinding equipment is characterized from the viewpoint of the proposed classification of disintegration factors.
