Competition for implementation of energy projects in third countries is escalating in the global nuclear market. The project of ATMEA-1 power unit, jointly developed by French group AREVA and Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), has a competitive advantage. This project takes part in Jordan tender, is being considered in Hungary, and is possible to find an application at the Japanese NPP in Vietnam. ATMEA-1 power unit is a project of three-loop pressurized light water reactor of generation III+.
