The article considers the principles of flotation process computer monitor on the basis of the new Outotec product — FrothMaster video system. FrothMaster video system permits to control froth product flow rate into concentrate launder, froth layer stability, bubbles size in froth layer, and its color characteristics. A new design trend in open ore processing cycles, as well as addition of middlings re-flotation operation to flow sheet, are substantiated. The principles of flotation process neuronet modeling and control on the basis of FrothMaster video system are considered.
