The paper shows possibility of usage of electric potential of integrated quality parameter of surface processing, taking into account variations of its physical-chemical and structural-energetic state. Mathematical model reflecting relation between cleaning degree and main technological parameters (density of capacity and time) is presented. Influence of plasma modification of metal surface on its corrosion resistance is examined. Surface corrosion speeds for different processing methods (plasma, mechanical and chemical pickling) are compared.
