Abstract
The effect of single crystals growth conductions on
the optical transmission spectra and electrophysical
properties of La3Ga5SiO14 (langasite, LGS) and La3Ta0,5Ga5,5O14 (langatate, LGT) crystals has been
studied. Investigations of the temperature dependences
of electrical conduction of langatate in the 20-500 oC temperature range in a constant electric field
have been conducted. The effect of conducting coating
material on these dependences has been investigated.
The experiment required Y-cut samples made from
crystals grown in argon (Ar) and argon/oxygen (Ar+O2)
atmospheres. The conducting coating materials were
iridium(Ir) gold with а titanium sublayer (Au(Ti)) and
silver with а chromium sublayer (Ag(Cr)).
