The main factors having effect on speed of restoration of territories that have been violated during mining works are emphasized. Qualitative parameters for description of state of the territory are proposed. The technique for managing ecological state of mining-industrial territories, taking into account natural-climatic regional features and directed on im-provement of ecological situation in this region has been developed. Geoinformation system based on regional data base has been created as a remedy for support of taking managing decisions concerning mining-industrial development of the region, taking into account ecological requirements.
