Results of mineralogical and geochemical researches of coal-bearing and carbonate formations of the mountain frame of the Tadjik depression, intramountain trenches, as well as occurrences and coal deposits connected with them, for presence and concentration of rare, rare-earth and other elements are generalised and presented. Actuality of the further researches of Tadjik coals as complex rare metal raw materials for power and general industrial usage in the prospect is proved.
