Abstract
The data on possible application of heap leaching for copper recovery from the Erdenetiyn Ovoo deposit difficultly-processed ores are presented. Copper reserves in dumped ores of that type exceed 1 million tons, therefore copper recovery from such man-caused deposits is of a high-priority current interest. Recommendations are given with regard to heap leaching practical organization both in summer and winter seasons.
