Abstract | The results in the exploration of the experimental-industrial plant VD-300-16 to produce the vacuum high-temperature reduction calcium oxide of aluminum are given in this article. In is demonstrated that the part of the calcium oxide is reducing by increasing the temperature process in the phase aluminates composition. This process becomes far compelling in the view of the power consumption without risk of developing the aluminates melt. The requirements to the material of the crucible are formulated. |
