| Abstract | Prehistory of creation of the geological museum of Saratov state university, later reorganized as Regional museum of physical geosciences, is described. The main goals and functions of the museum are resulted. The structure of the museum is given and expositions of its halls are considered in details, directions of further development of the museum are defined. |
