Название New tool for inclusion and segregation characterization in slabs and rolled products

Реферат High requirements on the inner cleanness of steel products necessitates optimized processes with adapted analytical methods. New possibilities of determinations of macro-segregation and non-metallic inclusions are developed using optical spark emission spectroscopy. In addition to the standard concentrations of the elements it is able to describe the macro-segregation and the inclusion situation qualitatively and quantitatively within some minutes.
