| Abstract | ThyssenKrupp Steel brought back on stream the pickling line in its No. 1 cold rolling mill at Duisburg-Bruckhausen after only four weeks of rebuilding. Based on the results of a thorough cost-benefit analysis, which took into consideration short, medium and long-term aspects, ThyssenKrupp Steel decided in favour of turbulence pickling line using flat tanks made of polypropylene plastics and featuring lateral acid injection. |
