Abstract The paper is devoted to development of the technique for identification and revealing of thermal time nature of non-metallic inclusions formed in high-strength tube steels of K60-70 and Kh70-100 strength categories. The aim is search of the ways and remedies for most complete removal of these inclusions out of the metal during ladle treatment and forming of favourable morphology in remained inclusions.
