Abstract | Over three-hundred year development of mineral wealth in the Trans-Baikal region a large quantity of waste mining production in the form of dumps, host rocks, and off-balance sheet warehouse substandard ore slurry and tailings, slag heaps, etc. In the last 10–15 years, an increasing attention to such technological clusters do not only as sources of pollution environment, but also as an additional, potentially effective source of raw materials in areas with developed industrial and social infrastructure. The general characteristic of types and wastes accumulation from mining-industrial manufactures, their location at Zabaikalye Territory on specialization and degree of ecological danger, quality and quantitative characteristics have been done. The ecological-economical approach in economic operations for reducing negative wastes influence on environment, provided force of attraction for investors (business), region and country economics have been recommended. Currently, the most favorable and available for commercial use (Obtaining additional revenue and create new jobs) are the major gold mining waste — tailings and Baleyskogo Darasunsky GOK, Lyubov mine and others. The most effective and attractive to investors is an integrated ecological-economic approach to solving large and complex problems phasing-out of enormous amounts of man-made clusters in the territories of former and current mining industries of the Transbaikal region. With this for the financial support of regional and federal authorities should develop the concept (strategy) and targeted program of ecological and economic development of mineral resources, man-made formations of the region. |
