This paper is devoted to reprocess the Kedabek copper gold pyrite deposits using the modern technology and equipment. It is noted that Kedabek copper gold pyrite deposit (Republic of Azerbaijan) was exploited in a period from 1849 till 1991 using various technologies: by underground method and by leaching. Despite the considerable period of exploitation of an underground deposit, the ore reserves remain significant. In connection with this, since 2007 the enterprises of Azerbaijan National Mining Company (ANMC) began to reprocess the deposit by open cast method with using the modern technology and equipment. The main ore minerals of the deposit are pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, tetrahedrite, barite. The native gold is found in free and finely disseminated state in the ores, in sulfides. Its content is correlated with the content of silver and copper. Considering that, according to the "industry standards for drilling-and-blasting operations for open pits of non-ferrous metallurgy mining", the rate of explosion both of the overburden and deposits` ores, exceeds the category IV. According to this, the scheme of the inclined blast holes location is accepted onthe open pit. Along with the bestore reduction, it provides the more safer working conditions. The highly productive equipment is used in the open pit: drilling rigs Atlas Sorso ROS D7, excavator CAT 330, bulldozers CAT D9 and CAT D7, Grader CAT 14H, Loader CAT 980, compactor CAT 815. The height of the ledge in the open pit is assumed to be 3 m. Powergel Super 750, Powergel Magnum 365 are used on the open pit white drilling and blasting process. The ore from the open pit is referred for crushing and grinding, and then to the cyanide leaching of gold.
