Abstract

Lithium iodate (α−LiIO3) formation specificity by facet growth pyramids of its simple forms during single crystal growth on plane fuse (Z−cut) research results are presented. Single crystals, grown form acid (pH = 2) mother solutions at isothermal solvent evaporation and dosed condensate extraction, are studied. During research cation microimpurityes growing crystal decorating effect was used. It allowed visualizing facet growth pyramids {1010} and {1011} disposition in single crystals. By Z−cut surface selective etching method sectorial and zone heterogeneity of single crystals, grown from different purity work material, specifics are detected. Zone heterogeneity strips in crystal growth pyramids {1010} facets are detected. Also sectorial bounds difficult structure is detected at the Z−cut of single crystal, which could be explained by zone impurity heterogeneity appeared at single crystal growth speed microfluctuations.
