Abstract
The main themes of the reports presented at the 55 General Conference of the IAEA are concidered. There are presented the problem solving variants, relating to the elimination of the consequences of the accident on the Fukushima Nuclear Power Station in March 2011; the prospects of using the nuclear energy for the needs of water industry, radiation technologies possibilities, etc.
