Abstract |
In 2000, there was made a decision about a project development of ore dressing and processing enterprise on extraction and processing of diamond BEARING ORES ON Lomonosov deposit. “Mekhanobr Engineering” Institute was involved in project implementation on the processing plant and tail facilities. The processing plant No. 1 of Lomonosov ore dressing and processing enterprise was placed in the industrial exploitation in June 2005. The basic equipment of the factory is constructed by Metso Minerals Systems AB company. It is set in one of the engineering buildings. The equipment for breaking and further benefication is constructed in the main building along with the development unit, department of the final development and quality control and inspection department. The applied benefication scheme allows to extract more than 96% of diamonds and to process 1 million tones of ore per year. This scheme is notable by its easiness, reliability and significant decrease of the specific technological water discharge. During the operation time of the processing plant, there was carried out the range of the organisational and engineering measures on changing the enrichment technology of diamond bearing ores for the purpose of the increasing of fine grain diamonds extraction and work optimisation of the beneficating equipment and actuating mechanisms. In 2011, there were developed the extension projects of the processing plant No. 1. This project implies the obtaining of 4 million tones of ore per year during the ore processing of Arkhangelskaya pipe and Karpinsky-1 pipe. The modernized technological scheme of the experimental and industrial unit was the basis of this project. The project forsees the additional construction of a new building to the building of a processing plant No. 1 for processing of 3 million tones of ore per year. |
