This article gives a data of industrial ecological monitoring, which has been implemented for several years on Lomonosov diamond deposit. For the value of environmental conditions on the deposit, an observation complex is held in concordance with a project of an industrial ecological monitoring, which recieved an affirmative conclusion of Russian State ecological expertise. Complex monitoring of environment, which is yearly held on a deposit, includes the following varieties of monitoring: land-cover; surface and groundwaters; bottom sedimentations; fauna of vertebrate animals; water biota; air; local complex monitoring of forrest landscapes. Monitoring is held by a cosmic space survey, which is held every year in summer period wuth IKONOS sattelite. The survey area is more than a 100 quarter kilometers.
Results of an industrial ecological monitoring show that the mining influence, which is held on a deposit for more than eight years, corresponds to the construction of ore mining and processing enterprise on Lomonosov diamond deposit. Currently, “Severalmaz” Company comprehensively realizes a monitoring of natural environment components status, which is defined by a proper project. Extra control points are planned to be organized in connection with an upcoming construction of a starting complex objects, with a productivity of 4 million tones of ore per year.
