Abstract | Hematite quarzites are one of rock and ore components of iron and silicon formation — the main iron ore source of the planet. According to the different estimations, the exploited reserves of iron ores, which belong to the iron and silicon formation, make from 700 to 800 bn. t, which corresponds to near 70 % of the confirmed global reserves of iron ores. The implication of hematite quarzites into the development is the basic widening direction of mineral raw materials base of iron and silicon formation deposits. The following risks could be rated to the main, connected with the introduction of concentration technologies of hematite quarzites into the manufacturing: |
