Abstract | The article is devoted to the Nurkazgan deposit copper ores processing technology development. The deposit ores' investigation history is briefly described. The deposit West area copper ore sample, used for experiments, is characterized. By texturalstructural features and mineral composition, the ore is classified as lowgrade cupriferous sandstone type. The data pertaining to ore grinding in ball mill are analyzed. Grinding product grainsize distribution characteristic has been determined. Dependence of copper recovery into rougher flotation concentrate on grinding size has been studied. Power consumption in main orepreparation operations has been calculated. The results of flotation regime development study are presented. Copper minerals flotation kinetics has been studied. The experimental results, based on the developed technology, are presented. It is shown, that highgrade copper concentrate may be produced from lowgrade ore (regarding copper, gold and silver content) with high recovery of copper (92 %), gold (70.5 %) and silver (81.4 %) by means of simple flow sheet with application of only lime, xanthate and frother. |
