The International Conference “Plaksin readings – 2012” took place in Petrozavodsk city, for the period since 10 till 14 of September, 2012. The key object of this Conference was to discuss the new knowledges and innovation technologies in and around the processing of mineral raw materials. There were also discussed such problems as the increasing of the complexity of raw materials usage, with the obtaining of high-quality final products, on the basis of the fundamental researches. The brief survey of reports is given in this article.
