Gornyi Zhurnal
The 5-th issue of «Gornyi Zhurnal» (Mining Journal) (May 2016) includes the articles, devoted to the 85-th anniversary of the Institute «Giproruda» – one of the leaders in Russian mining industry design. The Institute constantly enlarges the range of its services and designed objects' geography.
The issue also includes the articles about the VIII International scientific and practical conference «Combined geotechnology: stable development and ecologically balanced subsoil mastering», carried out with the support of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. These articles are written by the leading specialists of the Research Institute of Comprehensive Exploitation of Mineral Resources, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Institute of Mining (Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences) and other organizations.
The article by S. A. Vorobiev and N. M. Kachurin shows the review of scientific-applied investigations in underground mining of coal deposits.
