Gornyi Zhurnal
The December 2022 (No. 12) issue of Gornyi Zhurnal shares articles on many different topics like industrial know-how and theoretical research in mining.
This issue describes the research findings in the fields of geology, geomechanics, mineral mining processing and multiple use, production and labor safety, environmental protection, etc.
We continue publishing materials on the historical, cultural and engineering heritage of Russia in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Gornyi Zhurnal.
For example, there is an article telling about the life and professional activity of a prominent Russian scientist in the spheres of geology, mineralogy, petrography, crystallography, chemistry and geometry—E. S. Fedorov who left a colossal scientific heritage of 500 treatises as well as significant achievements and discoveries.
This issue offers opinions on books published this year and sums up the results of the 25th Meeting of the CIS Intergovernmental Council on exploration, use and protection of mineral resources.
The issue ends traditionally with the list of all articles published in Gornyi Zhurnal in 2022.
