This article is dedicated to the distribution of copper in the condensed products in producing lead concentrates in Vanyukov’s process. The problem of processing low-grade lead containing raw materials is very serious, because the processing involved more and more poor and low-grade concentrates with high copper content. Processing of such concentrates on classical technology agglomeration — blast smelting associated with the formation of additional unwanted product — polymetallic matte, which makes the processing of rawing less profitable and more laborious. In order to study the distribution of copper fused melting of the products were investigated by melting raw materials under various conditions. Studies have determined the coefficients distribution of copper slag for various compositions and temperatures, established laws governing the behavior of copper in the conduct of pro-oxidizing melting lead materials. To determine the association concept of dissolved copper from molten slag phase structures microstructural studies were conducted on samples of varying degrees of crystallization of the slag. Experimentally confirmed the possibility of processing bubbling oxidative process low-grade lead-sulphide concentrates containing copper to 5% of the resulting lead bullion and slag, non-matte phase. Identified based on the distribution of copper are of interest for the development of technology oxidizing melting copper-containing low-grade lead concentrates in applying the process Vanyukov and can be useful for bubbling processes of other types.
