Abstract

On the basis of laboratory and industrial researches, there was developed the technology of efficient fluxing of agglomeration charge and obtaining of increased strength agglomerate. There was defined the influence of fluxing method on sintering process indices and agglomerate quality. There was obtained an experimental part of agglo flux, which was used during the production of increased strength agglomerate. Usage of lime and agglo flux, together with increasing of agglomerate strength, contributes to increasing of productivity and decreasing of solid fuel consumption during the agglomeration and decreasing of coke consumption in blast-furnace smelting.
