Abstract | Possible application of perhydro-1,3,5-dithiazine-5-yl-methane reagent (MTX) as an additional gold collector in the process of arsenical gold ores flotation was considered. The reagent action was tested in native arsenopyrite monomineral fraction flotation, as well as in flotation of arsenopyrite sample with gold artificially deposited on its surface. МТХ hydrophobic properties with respect to arsenopyrite were studied both in its individual application and in presence of xanthate, by means of air bubble tearing from mineral particle force measurement. The data, obtained in the studies of nitrogen-containing reagent MTX hydrophobic and flotational properties, verified its selectivity to gold. It was established, that MTX reagent application in arsenical gold ores flotation permits to improve gold and arsenic grades of concentrates. The work was performed with the aid of the Russian Federation President’s Grant for the State support of young Russian scholars – masters of sciences (МК-105.2013.5). |
